May 25, CHS parishioners were encouraged to come to church by bicycle,
foot, or other environmentally-conscious, nonpetroleum powered means.
Parishioners were also encouraged to sign cards in support of
environmental legislation currently before the Massachusetts
legislature. On June 8, CHS dedicated a new Parish Composter, which is itself a recycled item. The new composter is located outside the back door of the parish hall at the bottom of the fire escape. In his sermon on June 8, The Reverend Dr. Frederick P. Moser discussed the problem of carbon emissions in context of that Sunday's Gospel reading.
