oremus bible browser
The best online source for the New Revised Standard Version of the Bible.  This is the ecumenical 20th century translation used by the vast majority of Episcopal Churches (and mainline churches in the U.S in general).  It also provides the King James version and other resources.  It is an English website, so it defaults to the "Anglicized" version of the NRSV.  Just select "NRSV" in the drop-down box.  Find any scripture, anytime, anywhere (...anywhere with internet access, that is!)

The Book of Common Prayer
An unofficial but very accurate online text of The Episcopal Church's prayer book.  Besides the scriptures of the Hebrew and Christian Bibles, this is the most important book for Episcopalians as it guides almost all of our worship and practice.

The Lectionary Page
An Episcopal Liturgical Calendar with links to the Lessons from the Episcopal Lectionary and the Revised Common Lectionary.

Town of Wayland Massachusetts

Massachusetts Council of Churches
Homepage for the Massachusetts Council of Churches,  an ecumenical partnership of seventeen Orthodox and Protestant churches/denominations in the state, with approximately 1700 congregations.

episcopal cafe
An independent website devoted to all things Episcopal. Commentary, News and a fair bit of humor about our church. A great place to find out what is currently affecting the Episcopal Church and our wider family of churches, the Anglican Communion.

The Pluralism Project at Harvard University
The Pluralism Project is a study of America's changing religious landscape begun in 1991, documenting the contours of our multi-religious society, exploring new forms of interfaith engagement, and studying the impact of religious diversity in civic life.

on Being Radio Show (Formerly "Speaking of Faith")
A weekly radio program from American Public Media featuring conversations about religion, meaning, ethics and ideas. The program does not always have religion itself as a subject; it grapples with themes of civic life - asking how perspectives of faith might distinctively inform and illuminate our public reflection. you can read more about the show, listen to past shows and subscribe to their podcast on the Speaking of Faith website.

Practicing our Faith
A website full of ideas and resources to help you explore a way of life shaped by practices that respond to God's grace and reflect God's love for you, for others, and for all creation.

Dailyoffice.org
Dailyoffice.org offers daily morning and evening prayer by simply "pointing and clicking."  The site focuses on ease of use, simplicity and "brevity."  It also offers Noonday and Late-night (Compline) for those who wish to pray the entire daily office.  There is also information about other spiritual practices and the history of Christian spirituality.

The Mission of St. Clare
An online mission of St. George's Church in Ardmore, PA.  More complex Daily Morning and Evening Prayer services which include musical accompaniment for Hymns, Psalms and Cantcles.  Great for those who find music and singing greatly enrich their prayer life.   Also provides the four orders for Daily Devotions for Individuals and Families with that day's readings.

communion bread recipe
For our celebrations of the Eucharist, we use a bread recipe adapted from that used by the brothers of the Trappist Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, GA.  This delicious bread helps bring home to us the truth conveyed in the sacrament: that we are partaking in the heavenly banquet which God calls us to through the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus.
