The parish is fortunate to own a three-octave set of handbells, and these beautiful instruments are made frequent use of in the liturgy. The youth handbell choir is open to children and youth in grades 3-9 who have at least rudimentary music-reading ability. The handbell choir rehearses on a periodic basis after church services and performs at services approximately 6-8 times per year. The ensemble focuses on teamwork, rhythmic accuracy, and fosters a sense of fun and accomplishment. The youth bell choir is a great way to hone musical skills! |
